1. Service description

CVLife ("we", "our", "the service") is an AI-powered job search platform. You upload a resume, our system parses it and produces optimized applications for job offers. Access is provided through monthly subscription plans.

2. Purchases and refunds

Payments are processed by Polar.sh, our Merchant of Record. Polar handles VAT collection for all jurisdictions. Subscriptions are billed monthly and can be canceled at any time. Due to the nature of digital services, we do not offer refunds for the current billing period. If you experience a technical issue, contact us at our <a href="/contact">contact page</a>.

3. Acceptable use

You may only upload resumes for which you hold the rights (your own resume or one you are authorised to process). You must not use the service to process third-party personal data without their consent. Automated bulk usage is prohibited.

4. Intellectual property

The content of your resume remains yours. We do not claim ownership over any uploaded or generated content. We retain rights to our templates, UI, and underlying software.

5. Data retention

Generated PDFs are stored in Cloudflare R2 and are accessible via time-limited links (15 minutes). We retain generation records in our database for account history purposes. You may delete your records at any time from your dashboard.

6. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that a reformatted resume will result in employment or pass any specific ATS system. We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from use of the service.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
